Noah's Doctor appointment yesterday went great! He weighed 8lbs 2 oz. which is pretty good since it's only 3 oz less than his birth weight. Only bad news is that his throat was pretty red and he has all of the signs of reflux. Since he is still so young we'll wait to put him on any medicine. For now we are trying to keep him upright as much as possible and using gas drops. Last night we took the bassinet out of our room and replaced it with the swing since it sits pretty upright. We just left it turned off and let him use it as a bed. It worked so well!! We finally were able to get some descent sleep. He's still eating about every 3 hours or so through the night, but he will go right down and sleep until the next feeding. That has made me a nice, happy, momma!
Sleep=Good!
Here are some more pics for ya!

And of course..we can't leave out a pic of Miss Ella. She is doing great as Big Sister. She loves to help hold things we need until it's time to use them. Yesterday she helped me clean his belly button and she was so sweet and gentle. She usually refers to him as "Ella's Baby Noah" which we think is really cute!

And then there's Princess who's not sure what to think. She will give him the occasional sniff and then just ignore him. She spends most of the day hiding under the table watching all the chaos!

Haha... I really hope Roxy does as well as Princess... She's so used to being the center of all the love and attention!
She will!! Our dog is named Princess for goodness sakes! She was used to being spoiled rotten. Roxy will know you still love her :)
I told Landon we had new pictures of Noah and he said "my baby noah"...thought it was adorable.
Ahhh...so sweet. And miss Ella is absolutely adorable. I just love her infectious smile. Everytime I see it I have to grin. We will be praying for Noah to get passed the refulx. We love you.
You have a handsome little boy on your hands! How precious! I know your frustration with the reflux. Sometimes I wish mine had actually been diagnosed with it instead of just as happy spitters because then we could get medicine. I know that sounds awful, huh? I'll be honest...having a happy spitter is no fun, but hopefully he will either get some medicine or grow out of it! So happy for you guys!
Elizabeth has reflux too. Have you tried the gas drops yet? I have tried gripe water (the dr. said some people use it and like it) which is an herbal-type of liquid, but I haven't noticed any difference when I use it or not. By the way, your little man is so cute! Can't wait to see him in person.
Yeah we have been using the gas drops more than the gripe water, but we have both, too. The gas drops seem to really help him and the swing definitely helps. Last night he had one 4 hour stretch which was awesome!!! Who would have thought you could get this excited over 4 hours (which really is only like 3 or so since it's counting from when I started feeding him lol) Hey, I'll take it!!! He is way less fussy now and really isn't spitting up much. Hoping that we can just keep up what we've been doing and hopefully he'll grow out of it..Poor guy. We are planning to be at church Sunday so hopefully we will see you guys then :-)
